Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Order details — name, email, shipping address, what you ordered, and the personalization text you entered (names, dates, messages).
• The images you upload — stored so we can produce your keepsake and, if needed, reprint it.
• Account details — if you create an account, your email address and a password hash. We never store your password itself.
• Basic technical data — pages viewed and anonymous product interactions, so we can tell which keepsakes people are looking for.

How your photos are used

Your uploaded images are used to produce the item you ordered, to create your digital proof, and to reprint the item if a claim is made. That is the whole list.

We do not sell, rent or trade your images. We do not add them to a stock library. We do not use them in advertising, on our homepage or on social media without your explicit, separate permission — and if we ever ask, declining changes nothing about your order.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of service providers to run the store. They see only what they need to do their job:

Cookies and local storage

We keep this deliberately minimal:

• Cart — your cart is saved in your browser's local storage so it survives a page reload. It is not sent to us until you check out.
• Session — if you sign in, a token is stored so you stay signed in.
• Anonymous analytics — a randomly generated visitor ID and product interaction events (viewed, uploaded, shared). No advertising cookies, no third-party ad networks, no cross-site tracking.

You can clear all of this at any time from your browser settings. Clearing local storage empties your cart.

How long we keep things

• Order records — retained as long as needed for support, reprints and tax obligations.
• Uploaded images — retained while your order can still be reprinted, then deleted. Email us any time and we will delete them sooner.
• Account data — until you ask us to delete it.

Your choices

Email hello@pinmymoment.com to request a copy of your data, ask for corrections, or have your account, images and personal details deleted. We keep only what we are required to retain for completed orders.

If you are a California resident, you may also request disclosure of the categories of personal information we have collected. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Children

Our store is intended for adults. Many of our keepsakes feature children's artwork, uploaded by a parent or guardian — we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your photos are used, we will email account holders before the change takes effect.
